The official replacement blade for the Senior 2.0 — not the original Senior.

Wahl Senior 2.0 Replacement Blade #3028043 is Wahl's Standard 2.0 blade, made specifically for the Senior 2.0 Cord/Cordless Clipper. It is a high-carbon steel blade finished with black PVD chrome and DLC coatings, zero-gap adjustable for fading, blending and close cutting.

  • Brings a worn Senior 2.0 back to factory cutting instead of replacing a $200 clipper.
  • DLC and PVD chrome coatings run harder and slicker than bare steel, so the edge lasts and the blade drags less.
  • Zero-gap adjustable for bald fades and tight taper transitions.
  • Handles bulk removal and detailed finishing off the same blade.
  • Genuine Wahl part — correct fit, correct tolerances, no aftermarket guesswork.

Questions Barbers Ask

Will this fit my original 5-Star Senior?

No. This is the Senior 2.0 blade. The original 5-Star Senior and Cordless Senior #8504 use a different blade. Confirm which generation your clipper is before ordering.

Is this the same as the blade that shipped on the clipper?

Yes — Wahl lists it as the official replacement for the Senior 2.0 Cord/Cordless Clipper.

What do the PVD and DLC coatings do?

Both are hard, low-friction surface coatings. In practice the blade holds its edge longer and pulls less through dense hair than an uncoated steel blade.

Can I zero-gap it?

Yes. The blade is zero-gap adjustable.

When should I replace rather than sharpen?

If the cutter teeth are chipped, the blade snags, or it still pulls after a clean, oil and realignment, a new blade is faster and cheaper than repeated sharpening.

Why Barbers Love It

The Senior 2.0 is a serious clipper. Keeping a spare blade in the drawer means one bad drop or one dull week never costs you a day of cutting.
