Questions Barbers Ask

Is the Senior a fade clipper or a bulk clipper?

Both, and that is why it stays in rotation. The adjustable lever lets you open it up for bulk removal then close it down for the taper.

What replacement blade does it take?

The 5 Star Senior uses the 2-hole adjustable blade format, which is why the #2191 Precision Fade blade is the common upgrade or replacement.

Do I need extra guards?

The three included guides cover 1/16" to 3/16". Most barbers add a full-size 8-pack set to cover the longer lengths.
