No. This is the 3-hole Adjusto-Lock blade for the Senior, Designer, Sterling 4 and Sterling 1 Plus. Magic Clip and Legend use different blade mounts.

How close does it cut at its lowest setting?

The adjustment range runs from 1mm to 3mm. It is a taper and blend blade, not a zero-gap skin blade.

Do I need to re-align after fitting it?

Check alignment after any blade change. The Adjusto-Lock design is built to preserve your setting, but a quick visual check before the first client is good practice.
