Three-plus hours of lining power on a trimmer that lives on its dock.
The Supreme Trimmer Vader ST3778 is a cordless barber trimmer with a 7,000 RPM DC motor and a graphite DLC T-blade, rated by Supreme Trimmer at 3+ hours of runtime with a 3-hour charge over its Type-C port. The DLC coating resists heat buildup, which is what keeps a T-blade comfortable on a neckline late in the day. It ships as a complete kit — stand, wall charger, combs, oil, brush, cover and travel bag.
- Line up all day without a mid-shift charge — 3+ hours of runtime from a full 3-hour charge.
- Cut clean edges that hold — a graphite DLC T-blade driven by a 7,000 RPM DC motor.
- Keep it comfortable on the skin — the DLC coating resists heat buildup on long detailing passes.
- Know where you stand — an LED indicator for battery status, and a charging stand that keeps it topped up between clients.
- Start with everything you need — 3 guide combs, oil, cleaning brush, blade cover and a travel bag in the box.

Questions Barbers Ask
How long does the battery last?
Supreme Trimmer publishes 3+ hours of runtime with a 3-hour charge. For a trimmer — used in short bursts for edges and details rather than run continuously — that covers most barbers for the better part of a week.
What does the DLC coating actually do?
Diamond-like carbon is a hard, low-friction surface. On the Vader's graphite DLC T-blade it means less heat generated against the skin on a long lineup and a slower dulling curve than plain steel.
Can I zero-gap it?
Supreme Trimmer's product page does not publish a zero-gap specification for the ST3778, so we do not claim one. Adjust the blade carefully and test on your own arm before you take a freshly set trimmer to a client's hairline.
How does it compare to the Vader Lite?
Both run a 7,000 RPM motor and a DLC T-blade. The ST3778 is the full Vader with the longer runtime and the complete kit; the Vader Lite is the shorter-runtime, lighter-kit version.
Why Barbers Love It
The dock is the quiet win — the trimmer goes back on it after every lineup, so it is never the tool that dies mid-service. The DLC blade stays cool enough for repeated passes on a tight hairline, and at 7,000 RPM it has enough motor behind it to debulk a beard rather than just outline one.
