Is the Darkstar 72 really 12,000 RPM?

We cannot confirm it, so we are not printing a speed. Supreme Trimmer's own current page for the Darkstar 72 states 9,000 to 9,100 RPM; a number of dealers publish 8,000 to 12,000 RPM; Supreme's mass-retail listing states 9,000 RPM. Three different figures from sources that should agree is a good reason to leave the number off. The 3-hour run time is consistent everywhere.

Is the gold finish plated or painted?

Supreme Trimmer does not publish a finish specification for the Darkstar colourways, so we are not going to describe the process. What we can say is to treat it like any coloured tool housing: wipe it down rather than soaking it, and keep it out of the disinfectant jar.

What blade ships on the gold model?

Supreme publishes DLC blades across the range, with dealers noting that taper and fade profiles vary by colourway. Ask us before ordering if you need a specific profile and we will confirm against stock. CBT24 is the replacement blade for the platform.

Can I zero-gap it?
