What is a DLC blade?

Diamond-like carbon coating. It reduces friction and wear, so the blade runs cooler and holds its edge longer than an uncoated one.

Why does it come with a shallow tooth cutter?

Shallow tooth cutters are used for fade work — they take less hair per pass, which gives you more control at the bottom of a blend.

What do the body kits actually do?

Nothing functional — they change the colour of the clipper. In a shop with several barbers on the same tool, that is more useful than it sounds.
