The Classic 76 without the cord, in black, with the diamox blade.
The Oster Professional Cordless Classic 76 Exclusive Series #076076-810-000 is the black version of Oster's cordless 76. It runs a brushless motor through a worm gear blade drive, delivers 120 minutes of runtime from a 100-minute charge, and ships with a black diamox-coated detachable #000 blade. Three-year warranty.
- Worm gear blade drive is what gives the 76 its bite — it is the reason the corded version has been on stations for decades.
- Brushless motor: no brushes to wear out, and no drop-off as the tool ages.
- 120 minutes cordless from a 100-minute charge — it recharges faster than it runs down.
- Detachable blade system, so you change cut length by changing the blade rather than a lever.
- Black diamox coating on the #000 blade instead of the standard finish.
- Three-year warranty, which is longer than most cordless clippers carry.
- Runs corded off the included 8-foot cord when the battery goes.

Questions Barbers Ask
How is this different from the regular Cordless Classic 76?
Colour and blade. The standard cordless 76 is #076076-910-000 with the standard blade finish. This Exclusive Series is #076076-810-000 in black with a black diamox-coated blade, and it carries its own UPC. Same motor, same worm gear, same runtime.
Why does the worm gear matter?
It is the drive system that made the 76 what it is — it delivers torque to the blade in a way a standard motor linkage does not, which is why the 76 cuts through dense hair that stalls lighter clippers.
Does it take my existing 76 blades?
It uses the Oster detachable blade system, the same one the corded Classic 76 uses. If you already own detachable 76 blades, that is a real reason to buy this over a lever clipper.
How long does it run?
120 minutes from a 100-minute charge, and it runs corded off the 8-foot cord if you need it to.
What blade comes with it?
A black diamox-coated #000. Any other size is a separate blade purchase — that is how detachable systems work.
Is the warranty really three years?
Yes. Oster publishes a 3-year limited warranty on this one, which is longer than most cordless clippers in this class.
Why Barbers Love It
The 76 is the clipper people learn on and keep. This is the version that does not tie you to an outlet, keeps the detachable blade system you already have blades for, and looks different from every other 76 on the floor.
