A 45 mm DLC fade blade and a magnetic dock, at half the price of the flagship.

The Monster Clippers Avenger is the Dutch brand's mid-tier cordless clipper: a 6,800 RPM DC motor driving a 45 mm Crispy Star blade with a Diamond-Like-Carbon coating and adjustable zero-gap. It runs corded or cordless, charges on a magnetic wireless dock or over USB-C, and holds a five-position click lever.

  • 45 mm Crispy Star DLC blade — a wide fade blade, zero-gap adjustable, on a clipper at this price.
  • Three hours cordless from a 150-minute charge, so a full day rarely touches the cord.
  • Drop it on the magnetic dock between clients — no plug to line up, no cable on the station.
  • Corded operation as a backup, so a flat battery never ends a cut.
  • Five-position click lever gives you repeatable taper steps you can match side to side.
  • 229 g — light enough for a long day without wrist fatigue.

Questions Barbers Ask

Is the motor brushless?

No. Monster Clippers specifies a DC motor for the Avenger. Several US distributor listings call it brushless — that is not what the manufacturer publishes, so we do not print it. The brushless motor sits in the Assassin, one step up the line.

How long does it actually run?

180 minutes. Some listings claim four hours; Monster Clippers publishes three. We go with the manufacturer.

How does it compare to the Monster Assassin?

The Assassin is the flagship — brushless motor, longer runtime, higher price. The Avenger keeps the DLC blade, the magnetic dock and the cord/cordless flexibility on a DC motor. If you want the Monster blade system without the flagship spend, this is the one.

What guards come with it?

Four premium guides: #1.5, #3, #4.5 and #6.

Can I put a different Monster blade on it?

It ships with the Crispy Star. Monster's blade range is built to swap across their clippers, but confirm fitment for your specific blade before ordering — the Nano Gap is a trimmer blade, not a clipper blade.

What colour does it come in?

Black. Some distributor listings advertise red, blue, pink and green — Monster Clippers shows black only for the Avenger, so black is what we sell.

Why Barbers Love It

The magnetic dock is the quiet win. A clipper that lands on its charger every time you set it down never surprises you mid-fade, and you stop thinking about battery at all. Pair that with a real DLC blade and cord backup and you have a working clipper rather than a showpiece.
