Rectangle or half round?

Rectangle for a station against a wall, a back bar, or a shampoo bowl — anywhere you work in a straight line. Half round if your chair sits out in the room and you move all the way around it.

Does it have a chair depression?

No, this is a flat mat. If you want the chair recessed into the mat so it sits level and does not rock, look at the Shave Factory chair-depression mats.

Can I use it at a shampoo bowl?

That is one of the better uses for it. You stand still for the whole service at a bowl, which is exactly when cushioning matters most.

How thick is it?

7/8" — at the thick end for a salon mat, and noticeably softer underfoot than the chair-depression mats.

How do I clean it?

Sweep and wipe. Polyurethane does not soak up clippings, water or product the way a rubber-backed carpet mat does.

Will two of them line up?
