Cushioned wherever you move around the chair, not just where you started.
The K-Concept Half Round Floor Mat is a 3' x 5' semi-circular polyurethane anti-fatigue mat at 7/8" thick. The half-round shape wraps the front of the chair, so you are standing on cushion through the whole arc you actually work in — front, left side, right side — rather than stepping off the edge every time you move.
- The semi-circle follows how you actually work: you orbit the chair, so the mat orbits with you.
- 7/8" of polyurethane is genuinely thick — many salon mats are half that and your knees know it.
- Anti-fatigue cushioning takes load off knees, hips and lower back across back-to-back cuts.
- PU wipes clean and does not absorb clippings, oil or product.
- The curved front edge gives you a clean sweep line instead of hair banking against a corner.

Questions Barbers Ask
Half round or rectangle?
Half round if your chair sits out in the room and you work all the way around it. Rectangle if your station is against a wall or a back bar and you work in a line. Most barber chairs suit the half round.
Does it have a chair depression?
No. This is a flat mat — the chair sits on top of it. If your chair rocks, or you want it recessed so there is no lip at the base, look at the Shave Factory mats with chair depression instead.
How thick is it compared to other mats?
7/8", which is at the thick end for a salon mat. The chair-depression mats we carry are thinner underfoot but hold the chair level in a recess. This one is the softer stand.
Will it slide on tile?
A 3x5 polyurethane mat is heavy enough to stay put on most floors. On polished tile, test it before you build a busy station around it.
How do I clean it?
Sweep and wipe. Polyurethane does not soak up clippings, water or product the way a rubber-backed carpet mat does.
Is it worth it over a cheap mat?
The difference is thickness and material. A thin foam mat compresses flat within months and stops doing anything; 7/8" of PU keeps its rebound and keeps working.
Why Barbers Love It
Barbers talk endlessly about wrists and shoulders and almost never about their feet — right up until their lower back goes. A mat is the least glamorous thing in the shop and one of the few that pays you back every single day.
