Questions Barbers Ask

How long does the Diamante clipper take to charge?

Sources disagree and we are not going to average them. JRL's own product page states a 2-hour full recharge; several dealers publish 2.5 hours for a fast charge plus a separate 5-hour Reset IQ conditioning cycle. Since we cannot reconcile the two, we are omitting the clipper's charge time. The trimmer's 2-hour figure is consistent across sources.

What does the 5V Boost do on the trimmer?

It is a torque enhancement, not a speed increase — the trimmer stays at 8,200 RPM but has more twisting force available when the blade loads up. On a thick beard line that is the difference between a clean pass and a stall.

Is this actually made by Lamborghini?

No. It is a licensed JRL x Lamborghini collaboration — JRL designs and builds the tools; the Lamborghini partnership covers the design language and the colourways, of which this is the yellow.

What is the 5th Gen Parallel Motion blade?

It is the trimmer's blade system, built on a 42 mm fixed blade and designed for near-zero-gap setting. Parallel motion refers to how the cutter tracks across the fixed blade; the practical result is less deflection at the tip of the blade where your lines get drawn.
