What is Reset IQ and is the slow charge worth it?

Reset IQ is JRL's patented conditioning charge. A standard charge takes 3 hours; the Reset IQ cycle takes 5 and is designed to restore full cell capacity rather than just top it up. Running it periodically is what keeps a two-year-old clipper from behaving like a two-year-old clipper.

Does the white finish stain?

Light-coloured tool housings pick up dye, tonic and oil more visibly than black ones. Wipe the Ghost tools down with a soft dry cloth at the end of each service and keep them clear of colour products. This is a real-world caveat, not a defect.

How loud are these?

JRL describes the Ghost clipper as ultra-quiet but does not publish a decibel rating for the Ghost line, so we are not printing one. If specific noise numbers matter to you, the FreshFade 2020T is the JRL tool with a published sub-60dB figure.

Can the shaver run plugged in?

Yes. JRL lists the Ghost SF for corded or cordless use, which is unusual for a magnetic-levitation foil shaver and useful when you have three heads booked back to back.
