Is the Tauro Gold different from the standard Tauro?

Mechanically, no. Both share the 0.3–1.4 mm adjustable blade, the 3.7 V / 3200 mAh battery, up to 210 minutes of runtime, 260 g weight and the same accessory kit. The #710-327 is the gold finish.

How long does it run and how long does it charge?

Up to 210 minutes of operation, with a charge time of approximately 100 minutes, per Heiniger. It also runs on mains power.

Do I need to change blades to fade with it?

No. The lateral lever moves the blade continuously between 0.3 mm and 1.4 mm, which covers the close end of a fade. The eight guards handle 1.5 mm and above.

Will the gold finish hold up in a busy shop?

Heiniger does not publish a separate durability rating for the gold finish. The clipper body, motor and blade system are the same as the standard Tauro, so mechanical longevity is unchanged.
