One blade that does both jobs.
The HEINIGER Tauro Faper Blade #710-392 is a hybrid replacement blade for the Tauro clipper with an adjustable cutting range of 0.6mm to 1.7mm — the middle ground between the fade blade and the taper blade. It is the blade to leave fitted if you want one setup that handles fades, blending, freehand work and general cutting without swapping parts. The name is the job: fade plus taper.
- Covers most of the cut: 0.6mm to 1.7mm spans fading and blending in one blade.
- Fewer blade changes: stay on one blade for the majority of a service.
- Good for freehand work: the mid-range is where most freehand blending happens.
- Lever-adjustable: change length mid-pass without stopping.
- Genuine Heiniger part: made for the Tauro's blade mount and lever.

Questions Barbers Ask
Should the Faper be my default blade?
For most barbers, yes. It covers the widest useful range. Fit the Fade blade when a client wants true skin work.
Does it go as short as the Fade blade?
No. The Fade blade starts shorter. The Faper trades the very bottom of the range for extra length at the top.
How do I maintain it?
Brush and oil after every client, and check the lever moves freely through its full travel.
Why Barbers Love It
Most cuts do not need extremes at either end. A hybrid blade means one setup, fewer interruptions and a faster chair.
