How often should I change this blade?

Gamma+ recommends every 1 to 4 months depending on daily use. High-volume shops sit at the short end of that range. Brush debris off, put 2 to 3 drops of oil directly on the blade and store it with the cover on, and you will land at the long end.

Does the 41 mm width help or get in the way?

It helps on large surfaces and bulk trimming and on long straight lines. For tight detail work around an ear a narrower blade is easier. Gamma+ makes the 32 mm X-Pro Precision blade for exactly that job.

Will it fit every Gamma+ and StyleCraft trimmer?
