Questions Barbers Ask

Is this just the D3071 with a beard?

On every published spec, yes. Same hair type, same 16-18" length, same Level 2 black, same 21" head, same standard density, same heat and chemical claims. The beard is the difference, and it adds facial hair cutting and grooming to what you can practise.

Is the beard worth the extra?

If you do beard work, it is the whole point. Connecting a beard to a fade is the join most students get wrong, and you cannot rehearse it on a clean-shaven head. Fromm does not publish the beard's length or density, so we are not printing figures for it.

Why textured rather than a standard head?

Coily hair shrinks dramatically between wet and dry, and fades, guard transitions and line-ups all read differently through it. A straight-hair head teaches instincts that do not transfer.

Does it come with a clamp?

No — head only. It fits most standard mannequin tripods and clamps.

Can I colour or perm it?

Yes. Fromm lists heat styling, colour application, perming and braiding. Bleach is not a claim Fromm publishes for Theo specifically, so we are not making one.
