What is the charge time on the S-Blade 2?

Elchim does not publish a charge time figure, and we are not going to estimate one. The published numbers are 2,000 mAh, up to 2.5 hours of runtime, and a 5V/1A USB Type-A supply. It also runs corded, so a flat battery is an inconvenience rather than a lost appointment.

Can it zero-gap?

Elchim does not publish a zero-gap specification for the S-Blade 2, so we are not claiming one. The blade is described as ultra-precise DLC plus titanium; if factory gap setting is critical to your work, message us before ordering.

Does it share blades with the S-Blade 1?

No. Elchim sells a dedicated S-Blade 2 blade replacement kit separate from the S-Blade 1 fade blade — these are a trimmer and a clipper, and the blade geometry is different.

Will 7,200 RPM handle a coarse beard?

That is what the brushless motor is for. Rated speed only tells half the story; a brushless drive holds its speed under load instead of dropping off when the blade meets dense hair, which is where cheaper trimmers stall and pull.
