How long does the S-Blade 1 take to charge?

Elchim does not publish a charge time for this clipper, so we are not printing one. What is published is the 2-hour cordless runtime and the fact that the clipper runs corded, so you are never stuck waiting on a charge to finish a head.

Is the blade replaceable?

Yes. Elchim lists the DLC + titanium fade blade as interchangeable, and sells a replacement blade kit for the S-Blade line separately.

Will 1.5 mm at the top of the lever be enough without a guard?

For fade work, yes — the lever range exists to blend between guard steps, not replace them. The kit's six guide combs pick up from 1.5 mm and run to 13 mm, so the lever handles the bald-to-one range and the combs handle everything above it.

Does DLC coating mean the blade never needs oiling?

No. DLC reduces friction and wear on the cutting surfaces; it does not eliminate the need for lubrication. Oil it on your normal schedule — Elchim includes the oil in the box for a reason.
