Lineups without the hot blade on the back of a neck.

This ceramic replacement blade fits the Andis T-Outliner. Ceramic runs with far less friction and far lower heat transfer than steel, and blades in this line are rated at up to 75% cooler in use with up to 5x the working life of a steel blade. It is chemical resistant, corrosion resistant and rust free.

  • Up to 75% cooler in operation, which matters most on a T-Outliner because the blade sits right against skin on a neckline.
  • Up to 5x the life of a steel blade, so you swap blades far less often on a machine you use constantly.
  • Rust free and corrosion resistant, which suits a trimmer that gets sprayed down between every client.
  • Chemical resistant, so disinfecting does not degrade the cutting edge.
  • Low friction means a smoother, snag-free pass through a beard line or an outline.

Questions Barbers Ask

Does this fit the cordless T-Outliner Li as well?

This blade is specified for the T-Outliner. The cordless T-Outliner Li, model ORL, uses a different blade mount, so match on your exact machine before ordering rather than assuming the family fits.

Can I zero gap a ceramic blade?

You can adjust it the same way as a steel blade, but go carefully. Ceramic is hard and does not deform, so an uneven set will catch skin rather than bed in. Check the blade level from both ends before you touch a client.

Why does the heat matter so much on a trimmer?

Because a trimmer works against bare skin on the neck and around the ears, the two places clients are most sensitive. A hot blade there is the complaint you hear about, and it is the reason barbers keep coolant spray on the counter.

Why Barbers Love It

The T-Outliner is the machine most barbers reach for last, on the part of the cut that has to be perfect. A cool, smooth-running blade means the last minute of the haircut is not the one that goes wrong.
