B-Way does not describe it as DLC coated, and neither do its authorised retailers. What is documented is the graphite wedge-type fixed blade and the standard steel and graphite moving blade. We would rather leave the coating claim off than repeat one we cannot source.

Will it really fit my Babyliss FX870?

B-Way lists the FX870 explicitly, along with the FX825, FXF880, FX810 and FX673. Check your blade mounting is the standard two-hole pattern before ordering.

What is a wedge blade good for?

Wedge profiles are short and steeply angled, which puts them between a fade blade and a taper blade in behaviour. Barbers use them when they want one blade that handles both blending and taper work without a machine swap.
