How do I keep a duster hygienic between clients?

Tap it out and comb the bristles after each client, and wash it regularly with warm soapy water, drying bristles-down. Never share a powder-loaded duster without cleaning it.

Do I have to use talc with it?

No. It works dry as a clipping duster. Powder simply helps it glide and absorbs sweat on the neck.

How is a neck duster different from a fade brush?

A duster is larger and softer, used at the end of the service. A fade brush is smaller and firmer, used during the cut to clear the work area.
