Questions Barbers Ask

Do I need to dilute it?

No. RTU stands for ready-to-use — it is already at working strength. Diluting it would put it below the concentration it is registered at.

How long should the surface stay wet?

Follow the contact time printed on the bottle. The surface has to remain visibly wet for that full period; wiping it dry straight away does not disinfect.

Can I use it instead of the Barbicide jar?

No. Surface spray and tool immersion are different jobs. Combs, shears and guards still need to be immersed in mixed Barbicide solution.
