Does this come with a battery?

No. It is a tool-only listing. You need an FXONE lithium battery, model FXBB24, which BaBylissPRO sells separately. If you already run FXONE tools you almost certainly have one.

What does low profile actually buy me?

Reach. The ultra-low-profile metal shield cover puts less material between your hand and the blade, so you can lay the trimmer flatter behind an ear or under a beard line. It is why barbers keep a Lo-Pro on the station alongside a standard trimmer.

Is the fitted blade deep tooth or standard?

Deep tooth. The FX707B2 is a black graphite deep-tooth T-blade, which suits thicker and coarser hair. If most of your work is on fine hair you may prefer to fit a standard tooth blade.
