Black. BaBylissPRO specifies a hypoallergenic black titanium foil on the UVFoil, even though the tool wears a gold finish and some retailer listings describe a gold foil.

Does the UV lid replace cleaning the shaver?

No. It is rated to kill 99.9% of bacteria on the foil between clients. It does not remove hair or replace your normal sanitation routine.

How long do the batteries actually last?

BaBylissPRO rates the shaver at over 5.5 hours and the trimmer at 5 hours. Charge times are not published for either, so we do not quote them.
