Does it work in SnapFX tools?

The FXBB24 is specified for FXONE tools. The FXC2B charging base handles both FXONE and SNAPFX batteries, but the packs themselves are not cross-listed.

Do I need a special charger?

It charges in the tool, or off the FXONE dual battery charging base (FXC2B) if you want to charge it separately.
