The red one comes with a better blade than the standard — for the same money.

The BaBylissPRO CoreFX Trimmer #FX76RD is the limited edition red CoreFX. It runs the same 6,800 RPM high-speed motor and the same 1.5-hour lithium-ion battery as the standard FX76, but ships with the FX707B2 Black Graphite Deep-Tooth T-Blade instead of the stainless steel standard-tooth blade the regular model carries. Zero-gap adjustable, corrosion resistant, on a nonslip metal grip with finger and thumb rests.

  • Graphite deep-tooth blade instead of stainless standard-tooth — the upgrade is the reason to buy the red, not the colour.
  • Deep-tooth geometry feeds dense hair to the blade instead of pushing it aside, which is what a standard tooth struggles with on a thick beard.
  • Zero-gap adjustable for skin-close lining.
  • 6,800 RPM for clean lines and detail work.
  • Nonslip metal grip with finger and thumb rests — it stays put in a wet hand.
  • USB-C charging, cord included, 1.5 hours cordless.
  • 2-year limited warranty.

Questions Barbers Ask

What is different about the red one besides the colour?

The blade, and it is a real upgrade. The standard FX76 ships with the FX707J stainless steel standard-tooth T-blade. This red edition ships with the FX707B2 black graphite deep-tooth T-blade — the same blade we sell as a replacement for around forty-five dollars. Same price as the standard model.

Deep tooth or standard tooth — which do I want?

Deep tooth pulls dense, coarse hair into the blade rather than riding over it, so it handles thick beards and heavy necklines better. Standard tooth is fine on finer hair and gives a slightly softer line. For most barbers the deep tooth is the one.

How does it compare to the LO-PROFX Compact trimmer?

Same 6,800 RPM and the same FX707B2 blade. The Compact runs 2 hours instead of 1.5, has the ultra-low-profile shield housing, and costs about fifty dollars more. If you want the lowest profile in the hand, go Compact. If you want the blade and the metal grip at the lower price, this is it.

Can it be zero-gapped?

Yes — the FX707B2 is zero-gap adjustable.

How long does it run?

1.5 hours from the high-capacity lithium-ion battery, charged over USB-C.

Is it a home tool or a shop tool?

Both, which is how BaBylissPRO positions the CoreFX line — professional power behind the chair, simple enough to sell to a client for home upkeep.

Why Barbers Love It

A limited edition that quietly upgrades the blade rather than just changing the paint is rare. At the same price as the standard FX76 it is the obvious pick while stock lasts.
