The BaBylissPRO SnapFX Gold Trimmer (FX797GI) is a limited edition all-metal cordless outliner running a high-torque 7,200 RPM brushless motor. Its blade is a standard-tooth, 360-degree exposed gold titanium T-blade, zero-gap adjustable, and it uses the patent-pending snap-in / snap-out dual lithium battery system.
- The 360-degree exposed blade lets you see exactly where the line lands, which matters most on tight work behind the ear.
- Gold titanium T-blade is zero-gap adjustable, so you set it once for the line depth you actually use.
- Swap cartridges instead of charging: one cartridge sits on the dual battery stand while the other is in the trimmer.
- 7,200 RPM brushless motor holds speed against skin instead of slowing where you press hardest.
- All-metal housing with a knurled barbell grip and a snap-off magnetic hair pocket cover for fast cleaning.

Is the gold blade different from the black SnapFX blade?
Yes. The gold edition uses a standard-tooth gold titanium T-blade (FX707Z). The standard black SnapFX trimmer uses a black DLC deep-tooth T-blade (FX707BD2).
How long does a cartridge last?
BaBylissPRO does not publish a runtime per cartridge for this trimmer, so we do not quote one. The dual cartridge system is built so you rotate rather than wait.
Which replacement batteries fit?
The FXBPT standard cartridge and the FXBPT33 BOOST+ high capacity cartridge are both specified for the FX797 trimmer.
