No. The base works with the existing FXCORD clipper adapter, which is not included.

Will it fit my FX787 trimmer?

No. This base is for the FX870 clipper series. The FX787 trimmers use their own charging base.

My clipper is not charging on the base — what should I check?

Clean the charging contacts on both the clipper and the base. Hair and product on the contacts is the usual cause of a charge that will not start.
