How long do I dip the blade for?

A few seconds with the clipper running, just deep enough to cover the teeth. Do not submerge the clipper body.

Do I still need to oil afterwards?

The solution lubricates, but a drop of clipper oil across the teeth after the blade dries is still good practice for daily use.

How often should the jar be changed?

When the solution turns cloudy with hair and debris. In a high-volume shop that is more often than most people think — dirty solution redeposits what you just removed.
