The story
A barber who learned the trade on three continents
Andres Madrigal Brand - Dre - built his craft across the United States, Japan and Italy before opening the Parlor on Washington Street in 2016. That is not a detail you can fake in a haircut: the shop's whole approach is a deliberate blend of American, Latin, European and Japanese barbering, classic technique on one side and a willingness to borrow anything that works on the other. The Parlor became the cornerstone, and the name grew from there - Brand's Barbershop in Tannersville and Brand's Barber & Company in Pocono Summit followed, each its own room with its own feel, all carrying the same standards. This is the one that started it.
Dre still works the floor, but not always here. He splits his time across all three Poconos shops, so if you are booking specifically to sit in his chair, check which location he is at that week.
