Matching his love for craft beer and his five years of experience as a barber, founder Cameron Dean decided to bring this unique concept to the neighborhood.
“I have the two experiences coexist, and not just enjoying a beer or a glass of wine while getting your haircuts, but also being able to come in and peruse a nice selection of beers to go, so you get the best of both worlds,” Dean said.
The barbershop is located at at 706 NW 70th St. across the street from The Barking Dog Alehouse offering barber services along with a complimentary beverage and a selection of craft beers, ciders, and wine available for take-away purchase.
“It’s a space for people to hang out. It’s a space for people to share ideas, and it is centered in the community. People love to talk about craft beer, and they love to sit around and enjoy a drink together and talk about things. So that also is a very community-driven thing,” Dean said.
The Bottle And The Barber is currently in its soft-opening phase, open Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Barber services are fully operational and come with a cold one.
Beer and wine sales are expected by mid-March when Dean plans to host a grand opening. More details will be announced on the shop’s Instagram, @thebottleandthebarber.
“I’m excited to share my knowledge of craft beer with other like-minded individuals while offering quality barbering service,” Dean said.
