Drug Bust at popular Barber Shop

      After a monthslong drug investigation at a popular Paulding County Barber Shop, three men have been arrested.

Agents from the Haralson-Paulding Drug Task Force, and the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team executed several search warrants April 4 at Kingdom Kutz Barber Shop on Macland Road in Hiram, Georgia.

Agents said they searched and found cocaine, methamphetamine, Ecstasy, psilocybin mushrooms, a semi-automatic pistol and ammunition and accessories for other weapons.

Michael Strong, 36, was arrested and charged with possession of MDMA with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine and possession of cocaine.

Charles Brown, 53, was arrested and charged with possession of psilocybin mushrooms, possession of methamphetamine and possession of cocaine.

Darryl Floyd, 28, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine.

The arrest warrants were issued and executed after a month long investigation into drugs and guns at the business. It is not yet known if any of the people arrested were employees of the Barber Shop. 

The investigation is continuing and authorities said additional charges are likely.
